Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

My name is Annabel, and I am the Chapter President of Mu Lambda at Rollins College. To say that I love this chapter wouldn’t fully express how Mu Lambda and this sisterhood makes me feel. From the moment I walked through those doors as a freshman I sensed the love, ambition, and acceptance of these women.
As a chapter we are comprised of women from distinct backgrounds, with varied interests, and unique goals. However, as a collective, the women of Mu Lambda inspire ambition in all that we do. We are student leaders, athletes, actors, managers, and debaters – but most importantly we are all supportive sisters. From helping to pick up the pieces after downfalls to rejoicing in the good news and celebrating everyone’s successes, being a sister means having the support of a large number of selfless women.
A sorority, although social in nature, is so much more than that. Although I have met my future bridesmaids during my time in Mu Lambda, I have also been challenged as a student leader and pushed to be the best version of myself, all while feeling that I have 80 other women in my corner. There is no better feeling in the world, and I hope that you find that too.

Roses,

Annabel Dulaney
